Seawalls and tides
Many Snell Isle homes back up to seawalls that hold the bayou and bay back on normal days. During surge and very high tides, water tops the walls or comes up through storm drains. Damaged or low seawalls let water in more easily, and a seawall repair is a separate project from the home's water damage. Keep documentation of both.
